For greater publicity in the process of planning the budget

 

Organization Transparency – Serbia considers that it is necessary to secure greater publicity of data in the process of planning the budget of Serbia for the next year. Citizens of Serbia have the opportunity to read every day news about negotiations on the certain sectors' budget and on how much is approved by that draft for each institution but they don't have the possibility to make an insight into complete draft of budget, nor in prepositions of financial plans in which state organs expressed their needs for the following year.

 

Considering that restrictive budget is expected in 2009, which can not satisfy completely demands and expectations, we consider that current draft of budget and elaborated prepositions of financial plans should be published so that citizens of Serbia could have an insight in which level will the lack of financial resources reflect to fulfilling of tasks which state organs have to perform and to providing of services by public ministrations.
