Fight against corruption for the purpose of traveling without visas

Besides many already existing reasons to fight corruption, Serbia got a new one – possibility of establishing regime without visas with European Union countries. Considering news from Brussels, to accomplish this goal, against which are not even the biggest Euro- skeptics, it is necessary, among other things to implement regulations on criminals' property confiscation, implementing anticorruption regulations and establish independent agency for fight against corruption, adopt ethical codes and to conduct training for servants which give away passports or work in customs, fulfill GRECO recommendations (which Serbia adopted in mid 2006) and to implement anticorruption convention of UN and Council of Europe which Serbia ratified.

Transparency – Serbia expresses hope that new Parliament and Government will comprehend these conditions as stimulation for faster progress of started reforms in the field of fight against corruption and European integrations.
