Resolving of problems which anticorruption institutions face with
At today's press conference organization Transparency – Serbia pointed out that current position of independent state organs and organs of administration that work on implementation of regulations on public procurements (State Audit Institution, Public Procurement Office, Commission for Protection of Rights) and of other anticorruption Laws (Commissioner for Information, Ombudsman, Board for Resolving Conflict of Interest) is unsustainable. Securing of adequate conditions for work of these institutions is only one of the things that are supposed to have priority in proceeding of each authority that claims fight against corruption is important to them.
Nothing less important is disposing of legal and political barriers for their undisturbed work. After their establishing, National Assembly and Government should change their relationship towards these institutions, by devoting full attention to problems which these institutions point out in their annual reports and dedicate to remove them.
